CHEK HONG LEATHER FACTORY

Addition of Water Treatment System within the compound of the factory was required by PUB (Public Utility Board of Singapore) as the trade effluent of chemical discharge did not comply with the regulation. Existing factory was kept retained.

Unforeseen obstacles:

1. Large amount of big water and chemical tanks are required, and there isn't much space at the internal of the factory. Hence, the tanks took up a lot of space at the compound.

2. Existing Hardstand needs to be relocated to make way for the tanks. Fire safety elements were reassessed and submissions were required.

2. New fire hydrant was added within the factory compound and New Grating Corridors were added on the factory facade due to relocation of Existing Hardstand for fire safety purposes.
